Lead Physiotherapist

Cerys Robertson

BSc (Hons), MSc, HCPC, CSP

Cerys brings over a decade of experience to her role, with a career that began in Sports Therapy working within professional football environments and private clinics. This early exposure to high-performance sport laid the foundation for her clinical expertise and passion for rehabilitation. She later advanced her qualifications by completing a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at King’s College London, further strengthening her evidence-based approach to treatment.

Throughout her career, Cerys has worked extensively within private healthcare settings, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Her experience as a rehabilitation therapist has given her a deep understanding of how to restore functional, everyday movement, helping clients regain independence, confidence, and physical capability.

Cerys founded CJR Physiotherapy after recognising a gap in both NHS and private healthcare systems—specifically, the need for faster, more responsive care to support individuals in the early stages of injury. Her vision was to create a service that prioritises timely intervention, high-quality treatment, and a truly client-centred approach.

She offers a wide range of treatment options, combining hands-on therapy with structured rehabilitation to deliver long-lasting results. Cerys works across all four clinic locations, ensuring accessible, expert care for every client seeking to return to optimal health and performance.

Physiotherapist

Lily McDonnell
BSc (Hons), MSc, HCPC, CSP

Lily is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a background in Sports Therapy and a professional career in dance. Her experience across both clinical practice and professional performance has given her a unique perspective on injury, movement, and rehabilitation.

Having worked as a professional dancer, Lily understands first-hand the physical demands that high levels of performance place on the body. She has experienced the pressures of training, performing through demanding schedules, and managing injuries along the way. This personal insight allows her to approach rehabilitation with an appreciation of not only the physical aspects of an injury, but also the impact it can have on confidence, performance, and everyday life.

Lily's approach to physiotherapy combines hands-on treatment with targeted rehabilitation and exercise, helping clients build confidence in their bodies as they recover. Whether the goal is to return to sport, get back to training, continue performing, or simply move without pain, she works collaboratively with each client to develop a treatment plan that is realistic, progressive, and specific to them.

Lily is based at The Farm Gym, where she provides physiotherapy in an environment that reflects her passion for movement, strength, and helping people get back to doing what they enjoy.
